amount paid by him to said Collector, on said sale,
and all taxes assessed on said real estate, and paid
by said purchaser since paid sale and prior to such
redemption, and all costs and expenses properly
incurred in procuring the ratification of said sale
by the Judge, or Circuit Court having jurisdiction
in the premises with interest on all said sums at
the rate of fifteen per cent per annum from the
date of their payment.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.

CHAPTER 343.

AN ACT to pay the claims of Henry Brooke, C.
C. Magruder, Jr., and J. N. W. Wilson, re-
commended by the Comptroller of the Treasury.
|
Treasurer to
pay for servi-
ces.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Trea-
sury is authorized and directed to issue his warrant
on the Treasurer in favor of C. C. Magruder, Jr.,
for services rendered the State of Maryland as re-
feree in the case of the State against John R. Baden
former Sheriff of Prince George's county to Henry
Brooke, Clerk of the Circuit Court for Prince
George's county, one hundred and seventy-four
dollars and sixty cents for fees due him by the
State of Maryland to J. N. W. Wilson, late Col-
lector of taxes in said county six dollars and forty-
six cents, erroneously paid into the Treasury.
