CHAPTER 341.

AN ACT to refund and pay to Francis P. Eager,
of the city of Baltimore, the sum of two hun-
dred and eighty-eight dollars and eighty cents,
erroneously paid into the Treasury.
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That on the warrant of the Comp-
troller, the Treasurer is hereby directed to pay to
Francis P. Eager, of Baltimore City, the sum of
two hundred and eighty-eight dollars and eighty
cents, erroneously paid into the Treasury of the
State, and which has been recommended by the
Governor of the State.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, This Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN. ACT to amend Section sixty-two of Article
eighty-one of the Code of Public General Laws,
relating to the redemption of real estate sold for
taxes, as amended by the Act of eighteen hun-
dred and sixty-two (Chapter one hundred and
thirty-three.)

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Section sixty-two of Article
eighty-one of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled "Revenue and Taxes," relating to the
redemption of real estate sold for taxes, as amended
by the Act of eighteen hundred and sixty-two,
(Chapter one hundred and thirty-three,) be and
the same is hereby amended and re-enacted, so as
to read as follows :

Sec. 52. Be it enacted, That whenever real
estate shall be sold by a Collector, the owner thereof
may redeem the same by paying within two years
from the date of sale to the purchaser thereof, the
