the affirmative,

Said bill was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Salis-
bury Gas Light Company,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act incorporate the Newtown
Gas Light Company,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled entitled an Act to incorporate the
Snow Hill Gas Light Company,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Balti-
more and Galveston Steamship Warehouse Company,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Towson
town Gas Light Company,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Penin-
sula Railroad Company of the Eastern Shore of Maryland,

Being on the second reading,
Mr, Malone submitted the following amendment:

After the word "Maryland," in section 112, insert, or
some point on the Chesapeake bay and its tributaries.

Which was read and adopted.
The section, as amended,
