President of the Senate :

DEAR SIR : In compliance with section 128, Article 4, Code
Public General Laws, requiring the Comptroller to report to
the General Assembly the returns of the Mayor and City
Council "of the disbursements in relation to the deepening
and improvement of the channel of the Patapsco," I have
the honor to enclose the within, the same being a true copy
of said Report now on file in this Department.

Which was read,

And the accompanying document referred to the Committee
on Finance.

On motion by Mr. Clarke,

The vote by which the House bill entitled an Act to re-
peal sections 958 and 959, of an Act to ratify the purchase,
and to provide for the organization and government of Druid
Hill and Patterson Parks, belonging to the City of Balti-
more, by incorporating certain additional sections in Article
4, &c.,

Was passed,
Was reconsidered.
On motion by Mr. Clarke,
The amendment was withdrawn.
Said bill was then passed by yeas and nays, as follows :
