ner, form and times, and on such terms and con-
ditions as the Trustees of said Burkettsville Female
Seminary may adopt ; provided, however, that
said Trustees shall not sell scholarships to an
amount exceeding the sum of ten thousand dollars.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.

CHAPTER 232.
AN ACT requiring the County Commissioners of
Baltimore and Carroll Counties to levy a sum
of money to build a bridge across the North
Branch of the.Patapsco River, on the Limekiln
Road.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of
Baltimore and Carroll Counties be, and they are
hereby authorized and required to levy a sum of
money on the assessable property of their respec-
tive counties at their next levy term to the
amount of four thousand dollars, or so much
thereof as may be necessary, in the discretion of
the County Commissioners, two thousand dollars
of said four thousand dollars to be levied by the
County Commissioners of Baltimore County on

the tax payers of said County, and two thousand
to be levied by the Caunty Commissioners of Car-
roll County on the taxpayers of said county, to
build a bridge over the North Branch of the Pa-
tapsco River, on the Limekiln Road, and to ap-
point two Commissioners, one from each county,
to cause said bridge to be built in such manner as
