1868.1 OF THE SENATE. 751

House bill entitled an Act to regulate the decision of
points and questions reserved for courts in banc, as provided
by section 22, of Article 4, of the Constitution,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Henkle, Smith,

NEGATIVE—None.

The bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.
Mr. Clarke submitted the following order:

Ordered, That the Secretary, Journal Clerk and Reading
Clerk of the Senate, shall receive the same pay per diem as is
allowed to the Chief Clerk and Reading Clerk of the House
of Delegates during the present session of the General As-
sembly.

Which was read and adopted.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the construction of
a Bridge over the Potomac river, near the mouth of New
Creek, Virginia,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays:
AFFIRMATIVE.

The bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

Mr. Earle moved a reconsideration of the order, giving
the same per diem to the Secretary, Journal Clerk and Read-
ing Clerk of the Senate, as is received by the Chief Clerk and
Reading Clerk of the House of Delegates.
