SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That said sheriff and surveyor of
Carroll county, shall be equally bound to execute any orders
for surveys as aforesaid, as if the same had been legally issued
by Carroll county court, and shall be entitled to the same com-
pensation as if they had executed said orders from Carroll
county court

AN ACT, entitled, an Act relating to the Crier of- Baltimore County Court,
1820, ch. 153.

Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the judges of Baltimore county court, be, and they are hereby
authorized to allow to the crier of said court, such compensa-
tion as in their judgment they may conceive just and reason-
able, not exceeding two dollars per day, for his services while
attending said court, while engaged in chancery business, as
crier, hereafter, to be levied and paid as all other county taxes
are levied and paid.

of Elections in Baltimore County. — 1827, ch. 83.
Repealed by 1832, ch. 66.

AN ACT to repeal an Act passed at December session, eighteen hun-
dred and twenty-seven, chapter eighty-three, and for other purposes.
1832, ch. 66.

WHERRAS, it is represented to this general assembly, by the
petition of sundry citizens of Baltimore county, that the com-
pensation as now allowed by law to the judges and clerks of
election, is not an adequate compensation for their services;
therefore,

Preamble.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the act passed at December session, eighteen hundred and
twenty-seven, chapter eighty three, be, and the same is hereby
repealed.

Repeal.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the commissioners of Balti-
more county, be, and they are hereby authorized, to allow the
judges and clerks of elections, in and for all that part of Balti-
more not within the limits of the city of Baltimore, any sum
not exceeding the same compensation as allowed before the
passage of the act of December session, eighteen hundred and
twenty-seven, chapter eighty-three.
