830 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 21 WEDNESDAY, March 21st, 1900. Senate met at 12 M. Prayer by Rev. Mr. Maloy. Present at roll call the following Senators Messrs. President, Applegarth, Baker, Beasman, Betts, Bouic, Brewington, Bryan, Crothers, Dennis, Dick, Dod- son, Gray, Kirwan, Marsh, Messick, Moore, Moses, Peter, Putzel, Ravenscroft, Rohrback, Wilkinson, Williams, of Harford; Williams of Anne Arundel—25. The Journal of Tuesday was read and approved. ORDERS. On motion of Mr. Brewington, it was Ordered, That Messrs. Jones and Franklin be paid the sum of $97.36 for sundries furnished the General Assem- bly as per his bill rendered. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Finance. INTRODUCTION OF BILLS. By Mr. Rohrback, A bill entitled "An Act to provide for the payment of the salary of the keeper of the Law Library of the Cir- cuit Court for Frederick county." Which was read the first time and referred to Senators Rohrback, Betts and Ravenscroft. By Mr. Kirwan, A bill entitled "An Act to prohibit horse racing on the public roads and highways of Queen Anne's county." Which was read the first time and referred to Senators Kirwan, Applegarth and Messick. By Mr. Bouic, A bill entitled "An Act to repeal chapter 254 of the Acts of 1888, to incorporate the town of Barnsville in Montgomery county." |
