And whereupon y aforesaid Smith by Edward Jones his attorney Saith y^t y afores^d Jn^o: became indebted unto y
S^d: Smith in y Summe of five hundred & thirty pounds of Tobacco in Casqe as doth more plainely appeare by A
certaine accompt which accompt wee have here to produce in Co^rt: which Summ of 530^lb pounds of Tobacco in ~
Casqe y S^d Jn^o: Did promise & assume upon himselfe to pay y S^d Summ of 530 pounds of Tobacco when ~ ~
thereunto required but y S^d: Jn^o: little regarding his promise & assumpcon but fraudulently intending him y
S^d: Smith to deceive in y S^d Summ of 530 pounds of Tobacco in Caske whereupon y S^d Smith Saith hee is Dam
nified & hath Damadge & Losse to y value of nine hundred pounds of Tobacco & thereupon brings his Suit:
