The Council met.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Benja. Rumsey Esqr. Fifty pounds for
a quarter's Salary as one of the Judges of the Court of Appeals due him the ist. February last.
The Council adjourned till tomorrow morning.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Samuel Harvey Howard ninety one
pounds, fourteen shillings for recording Proceedings of the Chancery Court according to an
Agreement made between him and the Board as per Account passed by the Aud'r. General.

Benjamin Howard Esqr. late Sheriff of Ann Arundel County being deceased/Nicholas
Watkins who stands next in Nomination for that Office / declines the appointment by letter
of this date.
