[p 120] The Board proceeded to the appointment of a fit and
proper Person to procure by Purchase or Contract Certificates issued
by Congress commonly called final Settlements or other liquidated
Securities of the United States under the "Act to vest certain Powers
in the Governor and the Council" when Daniel of St. Thomas Jenifer
Esqr. was appointed.

Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Samuel
Turbutt Wright Esqr. Fifty pounds Current Money for One Quarters
Salary as a Member of the Council due in February last.

Commissions issued to the following Persons appointed Courts of
Appeals in Virtue of the "Act to ascertain the value of the Land in
the several Counties of this State for the purpose of laying the Public
Assessment":
