Monday 3d. July 1786

The Council met.
Present

The Honorable Jeremiah Townley Chase

James Brice

John Kilty

Samuel Turbutt Wright

William Paca Esquires.

The following Accounts by Citizens against Confiscated and for-
feited Property are examined and approved:

William Sydebothom against the Revd. Jonathan Boucher for
Eighty pounds, ten shillings and one penny half penny including In-
terest to 1 July 85.

Thomas Cockey Deye against James Christie for his Bond dated
21st. July 1775 for five hundred pounds with Interest to 1st. October
1784 amounts to Seven hundred and seventy five pounds, thirteen
shillings and four pence. [p 145]

George Wells against James Christie for Balance of his Account
Two hundred and thirty two pounds, one shilling and five pence
three farthings.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Tuesday 4th July 1786

The Council met.
Present

The Hon'ble. Jeremiah T. Chase

William Paca Esquires.

Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to John H. Stone
& Co. One hundred and eighty four pounds, ten shillings Current
Money it being for two hundred and forty Dollars advanced to Colo.
Ramsey and John Henry Esqr. each, Delegates to Congress by
Messrs. Willing Morris and Swanwick and twelve Dollars Commis-
sion per their Bill to be charged to the Delegates abovementioned on
Account.

Gale, Jackson and Stewart exhibit an Account against John
Barkley Junr. for his Bond dated 23 April 1774 for Thirty nine
pounds, nineteen shillings and two pence farthing with Interest to
the 1st. January 1786 amounting to Sixty eight pounds, sixteen
shillings and five pence farthing which is examined and approved.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.
