118 Journal of the State Council, 1784-1789.

pounds thirteen shillings and eight pence, Lieut. John Taylor Ten
pounds, twelve shillings and four pence, Lieut. William Stevenson
Nineteen pounds, nineteen shillings, Major John Postley Five
pounds, five shillings and to Thomas Dale Ten shillings specie agree-
ably to the Act aforesaid per Payrolls and Accounts examined and
passed by the Auditor General the 20th of May 1783.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Tuesday 27th. June 1786

Present as on Yesterday.

Wednesday 28th. June 1786

Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Joseph Clark
Seven hundred and ninety three pounds, fourteen shillings and five
pence half penny Current Money due him for Expenditures in repair-
ing the public buildings, up to the 24th. Instant per Account examined
by the Auditor General.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Henry Stevenson and Solomon Hillen appointed and Commis-
sioned Inspectors of Fells point Warehouse in Baltimore County.
The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning 11 o'clock.

Saturday 1st. July 1786

The Council met.

Present as on Yesterday.

The Council proceeded to the appointment of a Register of Wills
for Kent County in the room of Joseph Nicholson who has resigned
by Letter of the 28th. June last when John Nicholson was appointed.

The Council adjourned 'till Monday Morning 11 o'clock.
