George Vansant Mann who was committed to Baltimore County
Goal by this Board on Suspion that his going at Large would be
Dangerous to the Safety of the State, is hereby Discharged from
Confinement and restored to full Liberty. —
Ordered that the Issuing Commissary issue rations to Serjeant
Charles Harvey of the Invalid Corps until further Orders. —
That the western shore Treasurer pay to Alice Redmond and
Mary Connolly each one pound, two shillings and six pence out of the
money set apart for Contingent Expences per Accts passed. —
That the said Treasurer issue to William Dickson a Certificate
agreeable to the "Act proposing to the Citizens of this State, Credi-
tors of Congress on Loan Office Certificates &ca " for forty three
pounds seven shillings due him on Continental Loan Office Certifi-
cates adjusted by the Auditor General. —

Peace being happily established, the State will have no Occasion
for the Service of the Men you may have engaged under our Order
of the 8th Inst You will therefore immediately discharge all those
Men, and, as soon as convenient, furnish us with an Account of your
Expenditures. The Officers will also consider themselves as no longer
in the Service.

We have written to Captn Underbill, (upon a Presumption that he
accepted our Appointment, forwarded by you) to discharge all the
Officers and Men he might have engaged for the Barges, and to fur-
nish us with an Account of his Expenditures, as soon as convenient.
Should the Appointment have been put into the Hands of any other
Gentleman, you will be pleased to desire him to execute these Direc-
tions without Loss of Time; Peace being happily established, there
will be no Occasion for their Services.

Benjamin Stoddert, Jer. T. Chase, & John H. Stone Esquires
Whereas Divers Complaints have been preferred to Us, charging
the Private Men shipt on Board the Barge Defence, with Disobedi-
ence of Orders, Misbehaviour to Officers and with a Violation of
the Articles of War in several Instances. —
We do therefore hereby Constitute and appoint Captain Solomon
Frazier, Captain Olanyer Delisle and Lieutenant Zadock Botfield to
be a Court Martial to hear and try all such Complaints as shall be
preferred against the said Offenders on board of the said Barge and
