[Council to Mr John Crisall.]

Mr William McBryde, Commissary of Somerset County, has sent
by Captain Handy 46,420lbs Beef in Bulk, which we request you to
receive, and to report to the Boards the Condition it is in

Thursday 27th December 1781

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Major Mountjoy
Bayly seventy six pounds, five shillings of the Bills emitted under
the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca of the money appro-
priated for the present Campaign on Account. —
That the said Treasurer pay to John H Stone Esqr twenty pounds
of the same Emission, of the money appropriated for the Defence
of the State on Account. —
That Christ Edelin Esqr deliver to Capt Lynn, Lieut Lynn, Lieut
Nelson & Capt Lamar, each, a suit of Cloaths for the use of 4 Sol-
diers of the Maryland Line acting as servants under them taking
their receipts therefor —
John Oneal a substitute from Harford County 'till the 10th of this

instant is hereby Discharged. —

Friday 28th December 1781.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Burton Whet-
croft three pounds of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emis-
sion of Bills of Credit &ca of the money appropriated for the Defence
of the State per Account passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Beatty of the same Emis-
sion of the money appropriated for the present Campaign the follow-
ing Sums vizt forty seven pounds, six shillings and nine pence for
the use of Solomon Bentley Lt — three pounds, fifteen shillings for
John Shellman — three pounds for Adam Getzentower, ten pounds,
fifteen shillings for Henry Funk Six pounds for Lucas Fleck — two
hundred and seven pounds, sixteen shillings, and eight pence for
Capt Jacob Trout and Compy — twenty pounds for George Schnertzell
and also ten pounds, five shillings and nine pence for the use of the
said Thomas Beatty per Accounts examined and passed by the Aud.
Genl
That the Issuing Commissary deliver to Capt Handy employed in
the public service thirty pounds of Flour. —
