Wednesday 26 June 1782

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Joseph Deford
thirteen Pounds, eighteen shillings and six Pence of the Bills emitted
under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca due him per
Acct passed.
Commission of Letters of Marque and Reprisal issued to Thomas
Johnson Commander of the Schooner Return eighty four Tons
burthen navigated by seventeen men mounting six Carriage Guns,
belonging to Thomas Johnson, David Reese and David Patterson of
Baltimore.

Thursday 27th June 1782

Permission is hereby given to James Williams of the City of
Annapolis in the State of Maryland to apply to his Excellency General
Washington or the Officer Commanding at the Out Posts of the
American Army, for leave to have an interview on the Lines with
Mrs Williams the Widow of Thomas C Williams late of N York.

Permission is hereby granted unto Thomas Jenings Esqr of the
City of Anuapolis, to bring or cause to be brought out of the City of
New York the following Articles; which were purchased by him
in England, in the Year 1775 and from thence transmitted to New
York, where they have since continued — 2 Ladies gold watches, 3
Watch Chains; one of gold and two of metal, 1 Suit of black velvet
Cloaths 1 Suit of Black Cloth ditto, 1 Suit of grey Cloth ditto, 1
Suit of Crimson Cloth ditto, 1 Suit of Moreen Cloth ditto, 1 Scarlet
Cloth Roquelaure 1 ditto surtout Coat, 2 Laced Ruffled Shirts, 1 pair
of black silk Breeches, 1 embroidered Waistcoat 1 Silver Table Cross,
1 doz Silver Tea spoons, Tongs and Strainer, 1 Silver Tobacco Box
and Stopper 2 pair of Boots & 4 pair of Shoes — A Copper Plate, with
a Coat of Arms engraved & some Impressions taken therefrom.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Benjamin Preston
nine Pounds, fifteen shillings of the Bills emitted under the Act for
the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca for the use of William Butler
due him per Account passed.

That the said Treasurer pay to Alice Redmund, Mary Connolly &
Hannah May, each, one Pound ten shillings of the same Emission
due them per Accounts passed.

That the said Treasurer pay to Martin Norris forty eight Pounds,
nineteen shillings and three pence of the same Emission for the use of
Pat. S. Smith per Account passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Cramphin sixty five
Pounds, eight shillings and five Pence of the same Emission due
per Account settled and adjusted.
