That the said Treasurer pay to Elisha Harrison appointed Sur-
geon in the Maryland Line thirty pounds of the same Emission in
lieu of a Suit of Cloaths and four shirts for which he received an
Order on the Commissary of Stores on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Isaac Lewis eleven pounds thir-
teen shillings and four pence — William Thomas thirty pounds, seven
shillings and six pence — John Majors a soldier lately Discharged, ten
pounds, five shillings & six pence — John Dilman six pounds, fifteen
shillings — John Arbough nine pounds, fifteen shillings — Edward
Bryan four pounds five shillings — & Richard Harry ten pounds five
shillings — of the same Emission due them per Accounts passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to John Woolf twenty four pounds,
two shillings & nine pence of the same Emission to be delivered over
to James Heighe due him per Certificate settled & passed : —
That the said Treasurer pay to James Craik Physician to the Army
& Daniel Jenifer junr Physician & Surgeon to the General Hospital
of the same Emission, each, twenty five pounds, sixteen shillings for
Stores to I January last — thirty pounds agreeable to a Resolution
of this Board the 22 July last and also thirty pounds in lieu of a Suit
of Cloaths & four Shirts for the present Year on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Christr Lowndes seven hundred &
thirty pounds, eleven shillings & six pence of the same Emission due
on Certs issued agreeable to the Act to adjust the Debts due from this
State. —

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Lieut William
Richardson one thousand four hundred and eighty one pounds, thir-
teen shillings and seven pence of the Bills emitted under the Act for
the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca ten pounds and five pence thereof
to be by him retained for the use of his Detachment of Militia and
the residue to be delivered over as follows, nine pounds two shillings
and nine pence and four hundred and forty six pounds, ten shillings
and one penny to Capt Benjamin Eastburn — one hundred and thirty
pounds, eight shillings and eight pence to Lieut John Tawney — four
hundred and eight pounds, five shillings to Capt George Goble — two
hundred and thirty eight pounds, seven shillings and six pence to
Captain Michael Troutman and also two hundred and thirty eight
pounds, nineteen shillings and two pence to Captain Daniel Smith
for the use of their Companies of Militia guarding the Prisoners at
Frederick per pay rolls examined & passed. —

Majr Bailey informs us that he has only 29 Men to guard the
Prisoners. In this Exigence we must request you will order out one
hundred Militia from your County, who shall be relieved as soon as
possible. We are sensible this Tour of Duty is out of Turn, but we
are endeavouring to get a Regular Guard, and we hope your Militia
will not be so harrassed in future
