[Council to Allen Quynn Esqr]

Will you be good enough to favor us with a Return of the Wood
you have supplied the Soldiery, since you were so obliging as to take
the Management of that Business upon yourself ?

Thursday 4th April 1782

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Doctor Walter
Hanson Jenifer, two pounds four shillings and three pence — John
Greenwell ten pounds five shillings — William Pratt sixteen pounds,
ten shillings and ten pence — Joseph Winset eleven pounds six shil-
lings & eight pence & John McCay ten pounds, five shillings & six
pence of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills
of Credit &ca due them per Accounts passed. —

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Thomas Dixon
& Company three hundred and ninety seven pounds, nineteen shil-
lings and six pence and Michael Holland & Compy three hundred
and five pounds and five pence specie agreeable to the "Act to adjust
the Debts due from this State " per Accounts passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt Robert Denny fifteen pounds
of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit
&ca to be delivered over to John Vansant, James Smith and William
Evans soldiers in the Maryland Line, lately returned from Charles
Town, each, five pounds. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Dixon & Compy three
hundred and ninety seven pounds, nineteen shillings and six pence
and Michael Holland & Company three hundred and five pounds and
five pence of the same Emission due on Certificates issued agreeable
to the Act to adjust the Debts due from this State. —
Proclamation issued in the usual Form, calling a Meeting of the
General Assembly on Thursday the 25 Day of April instant, to take
unto Consideration Affairs of high importance and Concern. —

We have determined to pay Mr Stephen Steward six hundred
Pounds Specie, in Part of his Account, and request you will direct
as much of the specific Articles to be sold as will produce that Sum
