434 Assembly Proceedings, April 20-May 6, 1736.

Commrs themselves, that a Particular Account be kept of the Profit
and Loss on Loans in the said Office which the Majority of the
Trustees are willing to perform
They further find that altho a greater sum of money has been
transmitted to the Justices of the several Counties than was de-
manded from them by the Inhabitants for the Taxables in the said
Counties, yet there has not been any Money returned by the said
Justices
Your Committee further find that the Account hereunto annexed
is a just & true Account of the money emitted, & remaining in the
said Office, & humbly submits the same to the Consideration of
both Houses

any Account of their Proceedings there

A Bill from the Lower house by Mrs Stoughton & Dashiel Entituled
an Act for taking out of the Office of the Commrs or Trustees for
emitting the Bills of Credit so much money as will pay the several
Claims of such persons as have any Demand now on the Publick as
they stand stated and agreed to in the J ournals of Accounts allowed
by both Houses this present Session of Assembly thus Endorsed

By the Lower house of Assembly 6 May 1736
Read the first & second time by an Especial Order & will pass
Signed p Order M Macnemara Cl Lo H.

Read the first and second time by Especial Order in this house and
will not pass, and sent by Benjamin Tasker Esqr
A Bill from the Lower house by Mrs Ward and Hall Entituled an
Act for the Payment of the Publick Levy thus Endorsed

By the Lower house of Assembly 6 May 1736
Read the first & second time by Especial Order & will pass
Signed p Order M Macnemara Cl Lo H.

Read the first and second time in this house by Especial Order
and will pass; the Words, five Pounds, being inserted in the last
Line but One, instead of, two Pounds & ten shillings, and sent by
Col Hammond
