It appearing to this House that Mr Dulany, Col Gale, Capt Gor-
don and Mr Beale have received Places of Trust and Profit from the
Government Since their several Elections to serve in Assembly as
Members of the Lower House. The Question was put whether they
be Disabled to Sit as Members of this House or not Resolved in
the Affirmative.

the House Mr Speaker acquainted them they were Discharged from
any further Attendance.
Ordered that the Speaker Issue his Warrant to the Secretary to
Issue new Writs of Election Directed to the Sherriff of Ann Arun-
dell County to Elect New Members to Serve in Assembly in the
Room of Daniel Dulany & John Beale Esqrs to the Sherriff of Somer-
set County to Elect a New Member to serve in Assembly in the
room of Col Levin Gale and to the Mayor Recorder and Aldermen
of the City of Annapolis to Elect a New Member to serve in As-
sembly in the Room of Capt Robert Gordon they being Disquali-
fied to Sit as Members of this House having received Places of Trust
and Profit from the Government Since their Election.
