from the Head of Elk and we wish an Order that our Troops
should be furnished out of them. Perhaps our not drawing
Cloathing and Arms may be owing to Negligence in not
making timely Application, we think it ought to be enquired
into.

Present as on yesterday
Commissions issued to Francis Fairbrother appointed one
of the Coroners for Ann Arundel County in the room of
Allen Quynn resigned.
Ordered That the western shore Treasurer Pay to Lieut
Colo Samuel Smith seven hundred and thirty three Pounds
two shillings and six Pence for Linen Purchased by him per
Account passed by the Auditor General
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut Colo Samuel Smith
two thousand five hundred thirty four Pounds seven shillings
to be delivered over to Colo Mord. Gist Balo of Account
passed by the Au'd. General
That the said Treasurer Pay to Capt. John Boone forty six
Pounds ten shillings Amount of Account passed by the Aud
Genl
That the said Treasurer Pay to James Brice seventy seven
Pounds seven shillings and three pence Balance of Account
passed by the Aud. Genl

I am directed to transmit to Congress, and the Commander
in Chief of their Troops, printed Copies of three Conciliatory
acts of Parliament, let me add my most sincere wishes that
they may produce the desirable effect which is hoped from
