Marshall bust
The bronze bust of Marshall is based on Toby Mendez's full length sculpture that was installed in 1996 as part of the Thurgood Marshall Memorial in Annapolis. The bust was commissioned by the Thurgood Marshall Tribute Committee and funded with donations from private individuals to the Friends of the Maryland State Archives. It will become a part of the permanent inventory of the state owned art collections managed by the Maryland Commission on Artistic Property.
