They are a 501 (3)(c) organization which supports the state is a variety of education and information technology events. They report to Mike Teller and Major Riddick. At present they are working toward helping out with another NetWeekend 97 as well as the Technology Showcase at the Baltimore convention center next December. One of their major projects at the moment is working with Garrett County Community College to help their graduates and others who might be interested (Garrett Co. has 12% unemployment rate), connect with employers in the eastern part of the state and work by telecommuting.
