Other transactions included Henry KUHN of Frederick Town, who served as trustee, Paul COONTZ, Patrick CRETIN's wife, and a note by Joseph BLACK and Christian KUHN/COON Sr. to Henry VALENTINE dtd 10 Sep 1799 and witnessed by Jacob VALENTINE. Joseph BLACK d/ Jun 1801 - lived in Taneytown, left widow - Elizabeth (administrator and guardian) and 3 children, - Elizabeth BLACK, a minor - Matilda BLACK, a minor - Andrew BLACK, a minor Land - "Valentine's Good Will", 85+ acres; - "Kingston Stead", 31+ acres. Total land was 117 ¼ acres, subject to dower; sale held 16 Mar 1806 with Christian KUHN as highest bidder for 540 pounds; finalized 9 Dec 1809.
