Daniel BLACK had been found guilty of burning a stack of hay, the property of Amon MILLER and sentenced to 3 years and one month in the penitentary; his counsel requested a new trial protesting it was not a felony but a misdomeaner and evidence was insufficient. Petition not recorded.
