Robert M. Bell Biography

The Legacy of Slavery Exhibit for the month of February celebrates the life and legal career of Judge Robert Mack Bell. On February 17, 2005 Judge Bell was honored for his thirty years serving on the judicial bench in Maryland's court system. The display below follows Judge Bell through the different stages of his career, from his 1975 appointment to the District Court of Maryland in Baltimore City to his current position as Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals, the highest judicial seat in the state.
