Comments:
The firm of Brown, Allen & Watts was the first major African-American law firm in Maryland. Named one of the pre-eminent Baltimore lawyers and judges of the 20th century. First African-American judge appointed to the Municipal Court of Baltimore City by Governor J. Millard Tawes. Appointed to the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City by Governor Spiro T. Agnew. Help to create a specialized Family Court in Baltimore City. In 2000, the United States Postal Service building at 3500 Dolfield Avenue in Baltimore, Maryland, was named as the Judge Robert Bernard Watts, Sr. Post Office Building.
