Named one of the pre-eminent Baltimore lawyers and judges of the 20th century. Authored A Treatise on the Modern Law of Corporations in 1908 and A Treatise on the Federal Corporation Tax Law, 1909. Reorganized Maryland’s tax laws into one article under the Maryland code.
