Appointed to the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City by Governor William Preston Lane. Appointed President of the Maryland Senate by Governor Lane. Father of Judge J. Norris Byrnes who serves on the bench of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. His other son Judge John Carroll Byrnes served on the bench of Circuit Court of Baltimore City from 1982-2002 and is still associated with the court. |
