Original Charter language regarding the bounds of Maryland with
special reference to the ownership of the whole of the Potomac River.
 

Transcript of underlined text:
"...to the first meridian of the first spring of the river Patomomack and from thence turning
toward southwards to the furthest shore of the said river & following the west & south side
of said river into a place called Quinquack near the mouth of the said river..."
