Property: On 18 March 1752 Reid, schoolmaster,
sold to Jonathan Markland, 64 a. called Blue Hill, for 2000 lbs. tob. Margaret
Reid, wife of Alexander, released her dower rights (FRLR B:529).
On 2 Sep 1756, Reid, schoolmaster of FR Co., sold to Daniel Carroll, 60
a. called Trump Patch, with all its improvements (FRLR F:150).
Family: He m. Margaret [-?-].
Other Activities: In Nov 1759 Thomas Lewis petitioned the court
that he had boarded and nursed Alexander Reed and George Stretton, and
asked for payment. The court allowed him 1337 lbs. tob.
