Kenley, Daniel, HA/BA Co., in 1791 was mentioned as a
scholmaster in the Medical Journal of Dr. John Archer of Harford County,
1786-1792, abstracted by Henry C. Peden (Harford County Genealogical
Society Special Publication # 10, 1992), Ledger F, p. 20.
Property: In 1783 Daniel Kenly was listed
in the Assessment List for Deer Creek Lower Hundred as owning 4 a. Arabia
Petrea (MSA S 1161-6-4, p. 162).
Family: Daniel Kenly m. Frances Wells in St. George's Parish on
6 Nov 1739. Their son William Kenly was born 17 March 1741 (HAGE:68).
William Dunlap, living in the Borough of Lancaster, reported a runaway
apprentice, William Kenly, aged about 15. it was supposed he was sent off
by his father, Daniel Kenly schoolmaster in Lancaster, PA, to his grandfather,
Mr. Wells in BA Co. (AMG 8 May 1755).
