JOAN VANE
Biography:
Born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 11, 1931. Daughter of William L. ("Bip") Hodges and Alice E. (Rothage) Hodges. Married Bernard G. Vane (1926-2012); one son, Thomas W. Died, October 5, 2021.
General Assembly:
Member of Senate, District 12 (Baltimore City), 1974. Democrat. Appointed to the Senate in October 1974 to complete the term of her late father.

Member, Society of Senates Past.
