These two original, limited edition lithographs were used to raise money for the Lee and Jackson memorial in Richmond, Virginia. They were given to the Maryland State Archives in June 1997 by Mrs. Ardath Cade in memory of Senator John A. Cade (1929-1996), commemorating his abiding interest in the history of the Civil War and Maryland. They will be displayed in the Annapolis State Office Complex at the discretion of the President of the Maryland Senate, Thomas V. Mike Miller, Jr. who also has a great interest in the history of the Civil War.
