Born in Easton, June 1, 1914. Attended Talbot County public schools; Mercersburg Academy; Duke University, 1937. Insurance, Sales and Surveys. Navy Aviation Cadet Program, 1939-46; Received the Air Medal and Presidential Unit Citation.
