Solomon Holland died in December 1839. James W. Anderson was appointed his successor in January 1840.

Perrie E. Waters died December 11, 1930. ("Perrie E. Waters Dies at His Home." The Washington Post, 12 December 1930.)  Hanson G. Cashell was appointed his successor on December 13, 1930. ("Hanson G. Cashell New Will Register." The Washington Post, 14 December 1930.)

Hanson G. Cashell died August 8, 1942. ("H. G. Cashell's Rites Are Set for Tuesday." The Washington Post, 9 August 1942.)
