1. Leopold was suspended from office on January 29, 2013, following conviction of two counts of misconduct in office. He resigned from office on February 1, 2013. John R. Hammond served as Acting County Executive.
2. Neuman was elected by the Anne Arundel County Council on February 21, 2013, to serve the remainder of Leopold's term. She was sworn into office on February 22, 2013.
