Women in colonial costume in front of the old entrance to the State House in Annapolis. They were probably dressed for the Governor's Ball, the concluding festivity for Colonial Day. This event, hosted by St. John's College on May 15, 1928, was to celebrate Annapolis' colonial heritage.
