  • A map of the country between Albemarle Sound and Lake Erie, comprehending the whole of Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Pensylvania with parts of several others of the United States of America. Engraved for The Notes on Virginia, this map is the first state of the most detailed and accurate representation of Virginia in the last quarter of the 18th century. It recorded the westward movement in Virginia. It was Jefferson's only printed map. 1787. MSA SC 1399-1-196 [HFC 287J5]
