  • Nova Virginiae tabula. This is state 1 of derivative 5 of the John Smith map of 1612. It is an exact copy of the Hondius-Blaeu plate of 1629. It appeared in various atlases from 1633 to 1710, being initially in Mercator's L'Appendice de L'Atlas, Amsterdam, H. Hondius,1633. 1633. MSA SC 1399-1-230 [HFC 133H5]
