Friends of the Maryland State Archives

The Friends of the Maryland State Archives is a non-profit organization dedicated to Maryland's rich history.
Our mission:
To further the goals of the Archives in acquiring, preserving and making accessible records, artistic property, and other items relating to the history of Maryland by:
- Assisting with the acquisition of important documents, artifacts or works of art that are important to the understanding and interpretation of Maryland history;
- Providing funds for publishing scholarly works relating to Maryland history and culture;
- Providing funds for the conservation of important works of art that are in the state's collections;
- Making professional development opportunities available to Archives staff.
