Handling and display
instructions
As with any oversize image, such
as posters or photographs, care should be taken in handling the image to
prevent dents and dings that sometimes occur from handling.
In order to preserve the quality
and condition of your print, we recommend the following handling and display
methods:
-
Handling:
-
Carefully slide the paper from the mailing
tube. If it does not slide out easily, find the inner edge of the
paper and gently wind the edge in a circular motion while carefully pulling
the paper out of the tube;
-
Lay the print out with flat support
under it. Do not handle the print without support to prevent it from
bending;
-
Use white cotton gloves when handling
the print especially if it is made on canvas;
-
Display:
-
Avoid direct sunlight exposure unless
using a protective UV protective coating;
-
Avoid displaying prints near heating
or cooling systems as these may cause condensation which can damage the
print.
