Order Febry 4th 1861
 

Henry B. Warring               In the circuit court
            vs.                          for Montgomery County
Anna M. Warring               sitting as a courty of Equity

To the Honorable the Judge of the circuit court for Montgomery County sitting as a court of Equity.
        The report of Lemuel Clements committee of Anna M. Warring would respectfully represent to your honor that in pursuance of an order passed in the above case on the 25th July 1860 he found it necessary to sell said Woman Sophia & her two children and sold her & her two children on the 3rd day of August 1860 at and for the sum of seventeen hundred dollars— Your committee would further report that the said woman had run off with her children & was confined in the Jail in Washington City D.C. and the expenses of advertising and Jail fees amounted to the sum of thirty two Dollars and ninety seven cents which he prays to be allowed with such commissions for personal expenses & trouble as may be right & proper All of which is respectfully submitted.

State of Maryland Montgomery County to wit:
On this 6th day of December in the year eighteen hundred & sixty personally approved before me the subscriber a justice of the peace of the State of Maryland in & for Montgomery County the above named Lemuel Clements & made on th that the matters & things stated in the above reports are true & that the sale was fairly made.

In the circuit court for Montgomery County as a court of Equity — Summer Term 1861 Ordered this fourth day of February, Eighteen hundred & sixty one audition of the court state an account with the amount of sales & allowing him the sum of thirty two dollars & ninety cents for expenses and several per cent commissions for his personal expenses. And the said Lemuel Clements is ordered to invest the nett proceeds of said sale by loaning the same to private individuals to be secured by single bill & mortgage on real estate

The allowance ot Mr. Clements to be made up in proper vouchers, and subject to the future order of the Court—
