Biography:

In the 1860 Slave Schedule of the Federal Census, Henrietta Boothe, is listed by name as the slave of William H. Gwynn of Piscataway District in Prince George's County. She is the only slave listed by name and is 104 years of age. Gwynn owned many members of the Boothe Family and freed them at the end of the Civil War.
