Biography:

Nathan Harris ran from his master, John Edward Jackson of Anne Arundel County, during Christmas week 1854.  Slaves often took advantage of the hustle and bustle of Christmas and New Years preparations to escape. He apparently ran with Robert Fisher. Both men later reached Philadelphia safely.
