Visual Arts
Call for Entries ART ABILITY: An International Juried Exhibition of Art and Fine Crafts by Artists with Disabilities November 16, 2003 - January 11, 2004 at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, Paoli, PA. Open to artists with cognitive and physical disabilities, visual and hearing impairment. Only work executed after the onset of disability or injury is eligible. All media are eligible including: * Works on Paper * Paintings * Sculpture * Jewelry * Photography * Pottery * Other crafts Over $5,000 in prizes awarded last year. No submission fee. Submission deadline is August 6, 2003 and requires a submission form.

Audition Dates
Audition dates for "The Sky is the Limit" Community Theatre fall production will be held at the Eastern Regional Performing Arts Center, 7701 Wise Avenue in Dundalk on Wednesday, September 17th, 6:30 - 8:00 pm and Satuday, September 20th, 12 noon - 3:00 pm. Auditions are for children and adults. People with disabilities are encouraged to audition; be prepared to sing a song and bring a photograph. Technical people are also needed. Show dates are to be announced.

Summer Performing Arts Camp
"The Sky is the Limit" will offer a Summer Performing Arts Camp for children with disabilities and non-disabled children, ages 6 and older. Campers will participate in a production from start to fininsh, learning all aspects of a performance including make-up, acting, costumes, scenery, and movement. Camp ends with an evening production.
Camp will operate for five weeks, Monday through Friday, 10:00am - 3:00pm, from June 30 through August 1 at the Eastern Regional Performing Arts Center (located within the North Point Government Center at Merritt Blvd. And Wise Avenue in Dundalk).
This program provides opportunities for individuals with disabilities and non-disabled individuals to participate in the performing arts. Cost is $200 ($25 discount for second child). An extended day option, 8:00 am - 10:00 am and/or 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm is also available for an additional cost. $150 for both am and pm extended day, and $75 for either am or pm extended day. Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to participate.
