Maryland Technology Assistance Program
Maryland Assistive Technology Co-OperativeA day of fun and education for the whole family was held on Sunday, October 17, 1999 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Loyola College Graduate Center located at 2034 Greenspring Drive, Timonium, MD.
A myriad of vendors and organizations were on hand for demonstrations and hands-on activities. Although the weather was overcast, the mood was not. Food abounded in the form of hot dogs, coleslaw and bar-b-que.
Participants included the Therapeutic Riding Program which brought along a horse for demonstration; Maryland Technology Assistance Program, which demonstrated live video conferencing with a digital computer camera; The Baltimore Oriole Bird; Learning Independence through Computers (LINC); Maryland Augmentative Communication Association; Loyola College and the Maryland Assistive Technology Co-Operative to name a few.
