Baltimore, Md. 21201The goal of Maryland Arts Access, Inc. (MAAI), is to promote access to the lively arts by patrons with all types of disabilities. Presently, trained volunteers work in conjunction with MAAI to provide Audio Description, Braille and large print programs at theaters and other cultural events in the state of Maryland. MAAI recruits and trains describers and encourages everyone , regardless of disability, to take full advantage of area theaters and cultural events.
Tickets can be purchased directly from the theaters. Please call MAAI at 410 347-1650 to hear up-to-date listings and to request Braille and large print programs.

The following performances are audio described; contact theaters directly to confirm availability of accessible seats and sign language interpreted performances. MAAI is compiling a registry of accessable arts organizations. Your comments are welcome.
