The ADA Update Conference 1997 will provide:
- The latest information on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), including the most current decisions, policy statements and court cases.
- Opportunities to hear from and ask questions of invited representatives from the Department of Justice, the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board and the Equal Employment
- Opportunities Commission.
- lnformation on the Maryland Coalition for ADA Education and the Mid-Atlantic ADA Information Center.
- Great opportunities to network with other individuals interested in the ADA
The ADA Update is sponsored by the Maryland Coalition for ADA Education, The Maryland Govonor's Office for Individuals with DisabilIties, and the Mid-Atlantic ADA Information Center.
Registration Information
The ADA Update Conference will be held on Thursday July 24, 1997, 9:00 - 3:30 (registration 9:00-9:30) at Martin's West in Baltimore (see directions on back). This conference is designed for an audience with a solid understanding of the ADA, Registration fees are non-refundable and must be submitted in advance with registration form. Walk-ins will not be permitted due to pre-arrangements made for the audience. The cost is $40.00, which includes refreshments, lunch and conference materials. Scholarships may be available on an as-needed basis. To register, complete the form below and return with your payment no later than July 7 1997 to:

This conference is part of a project funded by the Mid-Atlantic ADA Information Center, one of ten regional technical assistance centers funded through the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) and the U.S. Department of Education.
