Adapted Recreation: "Try It, You'll Like It" video is now
available from Educational Video Services. Originally presented as an
interactive teleconference by Main Consumer Information and Technology
Exchange (Maine CITE) and Alpha One, this video presents an overview
of adapted recreation opportunities and equipment. Topics covered by
the panel of "adapted recreators" include: biking, hunting and
fishing, quad rugby, scuba diving, and both cross country and
down-hill skiing. To obtain a copy of this 90 minute video, follow one
of the following options: Option A: Your school or organization can supply a blank, rewound VHS video tape in a padded bag. High quality, brand name video tapes are recommended. Adapted Recreation: "Try It, You'll Like It" will be recorded onto your tape and returned to you.
Option B: Your school or organization can PURCHASE videotapes from Educational Video Service instead of sending in blank tapes. The cost is $5.00 per tape which includes the cost of the tape plus shipping and handling. Make checks payable to Educational Video Service, do not send cash or purchase orders.
